Reasons I'm not Catholic

INTRODUCTION The purpose of this paper is to answer the question we often ask: why do you not to join the Catholic Church? This is an important issue that deserves careful consideration and would require writing a book, but now we'll just make a hash.

First, we do not target people because we do not attach importance to the religious, social or racial, but rather the system that we'll talk.
To judge a thing, it is necessary to have a reference.
But in this matter, only the Bible is authoritative for whether something is good or bad. Jesus gave us this test: a good tree can not bear bad fruit, and a bad tree bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them (Matthew 7 v 18 to 20).

I - History

Everyone agrees that the Catholic Church has made many mistakes over the centuries, but can we honestly speak of "smearing" when it comes to tens of millions of people murdered. We only mention of the facts reported by history:

· The Crusades: there were 5, all as deadly as each other, the most despicable of all is that of children.

· The Inquisition was a means by which a countless number of innocent people were tortured and executed.

· The persecution of Protestants (called "religious wars" by revisionist Catholic) in which the royal armies were hanged, beheaded, quartered, burned and slaughtered thousands of people simply because they took the Bible seriously. Often the men went to the galleys and the women's Tour de Constance, Aigues-Mortes.

· The conquest of South America by the conquistadors come to convert these "savages". Entire peoples were decimated.

• The concordat signed between the leaders of the Roman Church and Nazi Germany in 1933.

• The full support of Mussolini and Franco: The Vatican has thus revealed its agreement with such infamous dictators Catholics.

We could even talk about the support to revolutionaries in Central America and South America, etc. .. We can not in any way we treat as a murderer.

Almost everyone believes that the Catholic Church was founded by Jesus Christ to the Apostle Peter. It is absolutely False: Jesus said to Peter "Thou art Peter (Greek Petros) and upon this rock (Petra in Greek), I will build My Church (in Greek ekklesia = assembly). The true church is not built on a man (Pierre = a stone) but on Christ himself. (The Rock).
For cons, the Roman Catholic Church was born in the 3rd century and was founded by Roman Emperor Constantine.

II - The Doctrine

• The salvation by works: the Roman Church says that we must earn his place in heaven by doing good deeds. Nothing is further from the truth. The Bible says otherwise: "By the grace you are saved. by means of faith. This does not come from you, it is the gift of God. It is not by works, lest any man should boast. "(Ephesians 2 v 8-9).

· The papacy: the bishop of Rome holds the title" Head of the Church.'' But the Bible says that Jesus is the head of the Church (Ephesians 5 v 23). The bishop of Rome holds the title of "Holy Father" when Jesus said "call no man Father." (Matthew 23 v 9). The Bishop of Rome is also called "pope" and the Bible says that only Jesus Christ is the High Priest (Hebrews 4 v 14) and that his priesthood is not transmitted (Hebrews 7 v 24).

· The mediation of the Virgin, saints and clergy: The Bible says that there is one God and one mediator (intermediate) between God and men the man Christ Jesus (1 Timothy 2 v 5-6) .

· The tradition equal to the Bible. Jesus said: "You remove the Word of God by your tradition. Hypocrites! Well did Isaiah prophesy of you, when he said:" This people honors me with their lips but their heart is far from me. But in vain they worship Me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. "(Matthew 15 v 6-9).

• The Purgatory has no relation to the Bible that says the contrary "there is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Jesus Christ." (Romans 8 v 1). Those who trust the Lord completely for their salvation go directly to heaven. This belief in purgatory is a way to make money by exploiting the credulity of the people, selling indulgences, masses for the souls in purgatory, trunks, etc. ...

III Practices

· The idolatry: God forbids the worship of images, statues ... same as symbols. The second commandment says expressly: "Thou shalt not do you any graven image, nor representations of any kind, you do not bow down before them and you do not serve them. "(Exodus 20 v 5).

· The Mass: Renewal of the sacrifice of Christ contained in the host so that the Word of God says that He died once for all (Hebrews 7 v 27) and those who belong to him must take the bread and wine in remembrance of his death. (1 Corinthians 11 v 23 to 26).

· The veneration and prayer to the Virgin and the Saints: God is the only worthy to be revered and the only one we need to pray (Deuteronomy 18 v 11). The Queen of Heaven (Jeremiah 7 v 18) was the great goddess of the Babylonians (= Ishtar), the Canaanites (= Astarte) and Egyptian (= Isis). When the humble Mary had the privilege of Jesus birth, she was married and had other children after Jesus (Mark 6 v 3).

• The infant baptism to remove original sin. This practice has nothing to do with the baptism instituted by the Lord who said: "He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved (Mark 16 v 16)." We must therefore think before being baptized. This is not a few drops of water that can make someone a child of God, but as it is written: "To those who believe in His name, He gave power become children of God. "(John 1 v 12). Moreover, the Greek word meaning Baptism: immersion. This means that believers are fully immersed in water, following their declaration of faith.

· The Assumption of Mary, Catholics believe that Mary did not die but ascended into heaven bodily. The Bible does not make the slightest allusion. This doctrine is recent, dating from 1950.

· The Holidays: Christmas as (nobody knows when Jesus was born), Easter (Jewish holiday that has no place to be), Saint John, Saints, etc. ..

CONCLUSION

Dear reader, whether you're Catholic or not, we have good news for you:
is that you can be forgiven of all your sins if you repent instantly by confessing all to God and believing that Jesus Christ died your place on the cross and was resurrected.

Entrust yourself completely to the Lord Jesus the only Savior and He gives you that instant the Eternal Life.
"The wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." (Romans 6 v 23). Read the complete New Testament, contact us, do not be afraid of what others will think of you or tell you.
