The Koran claims to be a "confirmer" in Arabic, the Book of Moses (C7) became necessary because the inhabitants of Mecca could not understand what "the two peoples before them had" learned "a study diligent "or they would have better tracking (C5). In one of the last suras revealed to Muhammad, that of repentance, it is explicitly stated: "The promise of God is true in the Torah, the Gospel and the Koran. "(C12).

Commentators apply these verses in different incidents, but they are united in the belief that Jews were sent to Muhammad and asked his arbitration. Muhammad suggested that they refer to their scriptures, they refused and left.

The preceding verses show a continuous presence of an authentic and genuine Torah Gospel at the time of Muhammad and these writings were recognized as well by Muslims as non-Muslims.

If this hadith is true then it proves that Muhammad believed in Torah which had the Jews of Medina in the year 10 AH. Even if it is not a strong hadith, it is nonetheless an important testimony in favor of the Muslims' awareness of the first two centuries of the Hegira, the Torah and the Gospel in Arabia.
Besides the hadith above, we have 22 passages discussed in this paragraph and 13 others discussed in the previous, 35 total citations, certifying that existed during the lifetime of Muhammad, a Torah and Gospel Authentic!
Muslims may claim that the Torah and the Gospel Authentic widespread in Saudi were different from the corresponding contemporary writings. But where passed this Torah and the Gospel Authentic? "Make religion, and do not diverge." ... They were divided by rebellion among them, only after knowledge had come. And if a word from your Lord n 'had not taken the lead up to a term called, everything would have been decided between them! Yes, and those that the Book was given as an inheritance after these people are in any doubt about it that leads uncertainty! "
F2. Proof (Al-Baiyin) 98.14, primitive period in Medina:
" And those to whom the Book was given did not become divided until after the evidence came to them. "
F3. The Cow (Al-Baqara) 2253, year 2 AH:
" To Jesus son of Mary We gave clear proofs and strengthened him with the holy spirit. And if God had wanted people who came after them would not have killed each other, after clear proofs had come to them but they began to play: some of them believed and others were incredulous. "
F4 . The Family of Amram (Al 'Imran) 3.19, 2-3 year of the Hegira:
"Those to whom the Book was given did not have fought, rebelled against each other, after knowledge had come to that."
F5. Plateau served (Al Ma'ida) 5:14-15, iodine Hegira year
Among those who say: "We are Christians, we accepted the covenant," some have forgotten some of what they were reminded . We raised them enmity and hatred till the Day of Resurrection ... God will soon show what they did.
O People of the Book! Our Prophet came to us. It tells you a Much of the book that you hide. It repeals much. "
These passages teach us that Christians were divided (Fl, F2) because of jealousy and hatred (F2, F4), they had disputes (F3, F4), so does God raised He hostility and hatred between them (FS) to kill each other (F3).
It is even said that they forgot a part of their Book and their covenant (F5), that 'they hid a large portion (F5) and they are in any doubt that leads to uncertainty (F1).
Yet as we have already noted in paragraph B, it says here that "Some believed "(F3).
Christian and secular history confirms the existence of differences and bloody fighting between Christians. The Coptic Church of Egypt was declared heretical by the Roman and Byzantine churches. Yet they were all based two on the same Bible, it is also the same between Shiites and Sunnis, which, although both Muslim movements and with the same Koran, does not it less violently opposed.
None of the passages statements accusing Christians of having tampered with their unbelieving Bible, much less can we believe that faithful Christians have dared to do!
G. Verses that prove that the Jews refused the Koran, tried to change it or hid their own verses from Torah and dismissed its significance
Gl. The Cattle (Al-An `am) 6.89-92, late Meccan
" To them (the prophets from Noah to Jesus listed in verses 84 to 86) whom We gave the Book and wisdom and function of a prophet. If other then do not, obviously we entrust these things to people who are not disbelievers. They do not measure God's true measure when they say God has not revealed anything about a human! Say: "Who has sent down the Book which Moses brought as a light and guidance for mankind, that you lay out for the show, but ye hide much and by whom you were taught that you do Did not your ancestors? "... Here is a Book which We have revealed, blessed, verifying that which IS between his hands (the Torah) - that thou mayest warn the Mother of Cities and all around her. "
G2. Hud (Hud) 11 110, Meccan Late:
"And certainly We gave Moses the Book. Then there diverged. And but one word from thy God had taken the lead, everything would have been decided between them Yes, they are about it, a doubt which leads to uncertainty. "(Same idea 10.93)
G3. The Cow (Al-Baqara) 2.85, year 2 of AH:
"Do you think a certain part of the book and keep you unbelievers against another! What will be the reward for those among you who does so, if not to be humiliated over the life of this world and to be delivered towards the ultimate drive, the Day of Resurrection? "
G4. 2.89- 90
"When a Book from Allah, confirming what they have with them (the Torah) their reached ... they do not believe ... How awful is that against which they have sold their souls! "
G5. 2.97,101:
" He (Gabriel) who was sent down to your heart with God's permission the Book confirming what is between his hands (the Torah) ... When a prophet sent by God came to them, confirming what they have with them (the Torah), several (Fariq) of those to whom the Book had been given behind their backs rejected the Book of God as if they knew nothing (of what was in it). "
G6. 2140:
" Will they say: 'Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob and the tribes, they were really Jewish or Christian? " Say: 'Is it you, or God, who are the wisest? " Who is more unjust than he who conceals a testimony that A God? "
G7. 2146:
" Those to whom We have given the Book recognize him as they recognize their sons. Yes, yet some of them conceal the truth while they know! "
G8. 2159:
" Those (of Jews) that hide the obvious signs and the direction that we found since we have made them known to men through the book: that those whom God has cursed. "
G9. 2174:
" Those who conceal what God has sent down because the book and sell it cheaply, those that do bellies of Fire. "
G10. The Family of Amram (Al 'Imran) 3.69-71, year 2 - 3 AH:
"Part (Ta'if) people of the Book to lead you astray: they lead astray but themselves and they do not have consciousness.
O People of the Book! Why are you incredulous to the signs of God, then you are witnesses?
O People of the Book! Why do you hide the truth in the lie? Why do you hide the truth, then you KNOW? "
G11. 3.75:
" Some of the People of the Book you will make the dower you have given them. Others will make you the dinar that you have entrusted them that if you harass them. "(Translated by D. Masson)
G12. 3199:
" Yes, there are some people who certainly believe the Book in God and what was sent down to you and in what hath been revealed to them, they are humble before God and do not sell God's signs for a miserable price. That those whose wage is with their Lord. Verily, Allah is swift in reckoning. "
These verses refer to several charges against the Jews. They have strayed from the Torah and have a great doubt (G2). They write their books and do some shows and hides a lot, depending on what they want Muslims see (G1).
But the most serious accusations against the Jews about their attitude towards the Koran. They refuse to believe in the Quran (G3) and reject God's signs (G10). They sell the signs of God and their own souls for a cheap price (G9, G12). They hide the truth - that is to say the testimony given to the Koran - in their scriptures (G6, G7, G9, Glo) and conceal the truth about the Koran under the lie (G10). They accept only part of the Koran that suits them and reject the rest (G3), they reject the book behind their backs (G5).
However
the Qur'an declares that they have the Torah with them (G4, G5) and testifies to the truth of the Torah is "their hands" (G1, G5). Jews have a testimony of God (G6), they are "witnesses" (G10) and have knowledge (G7, G10), they read the book.
Another verse that best summarizes the ruling of the Qur'an is taken from the Sura of the Cow (Al-Baqara) 2.40-44, dated year 2 AH. We read
"O son of Israel ... believe that I have revealed, confirming what IS WITH YOU (the Torah). Do not be the first to disbelieve; not barter my signs for a miserable price ... Do not hide the truth by coating of lies ... You enjoin men to goodness, while you yourselves forget? You read the book. "
The Koran is therefore in support of the truth of the Torah that is with the Jews and they are studying. Unbelieving Jews await the goodness from the others, but they forget the practice themselves because they lie in denying the Koran and hide in their scriptures, the truth about him.
The Koran also recognizes that some of the people of the book is perfectly honest (G 12), it believes in God and that some Jews accept the Koran as well as the Torah.
But notice that none of the verses mentioned shows any reproach from God, accusing the unbelieving Jews have changed the words of the Torah, and Jews as Abdullah Ibn Salam and Mukhairiq who accepted the message of the Prophet and became Muslims would certainly not bring any changes to the Torah.
H. Verses that speak specifically tahrif:
H1. The Family of Amram (Al 'Imran) 3.78, 2-3 year of the Hegira:
"Yes, and there among them (the people of the Book) who roll their languages with a prescription for you to believe it is the Book, then it is not the book, and they say 'It comes from God', then it does not come from God. And they tell a lie against God. So they know! "This verse
openly accuses the Jews of distorting the words during their reading. They do it for their listeners to believe that it is other words of the Torah, and Therefore, God. Quranic Verse foils the ruse by saying "it does not come from the book, and there is no God."
H2. Plateau used (Al-Ma'ida) 5.13-14, year 10 AH
"And God most certainly took the commitment of the children of Israel. We suscitâmes and twelve counts of them ...
And because of their violation commitment, We have cursed them and hardened their hearts, they divert the word of his senses and abandoned a good part of that by which they were recalled. You do not cease to glimpse of the betrayal from them except a few of them, forgive them and passes. Yes God loves the doers of good. "
unbelieving Jews, whose heart was hardened because they violated the covenant," have hijacked the word's meaning, "and forget (deliberately) a part of their law ".
Taken alone, this verse could mean that the Jews with a knife cut out parts of their Torah to change words or delete whole passages. But the sections D and E, and the reference H6, showed that the Qur'an sees the Torah as "being with Jews" as "being read" by them as "having the command of God" in it.
therefore he must want to accuse Jews of concealing certain verses and read others out of context, as confirmed by the well-known example of the verse on stoning. This is called in Arabic al-`nawi tahrif or" change the meaning. "
But we must strongly emphasize that little phrase "except a few of them". This evidence demonstrates that there was some honest Jews who believed, as confirmed by this other quotation from the Koran. These Jews would never have agreed to modify anything or in the words nor the meaning of Torah.
H3. The Family of Amram (Al 'Imran) 3113-114, 2-3 year of the Hegira
"They are not all equal. It is, among the People of the Book, a staunch community who, during the hours of night, prostrating themselves recite the verses of God. They believe in Allah and the Last Day, and enjoin and forbid what is wrong, and contribute to good works. These are good people ... "
H4. Women (Al-Nisa ') 4.44-47, 5-6 year of the Hegira
"Hast thou not seen those who have expressed Book buy error and desire that you get lost the way?
... It is among the Jewish who displace words from their meaning and say: "We had heard, but we have disobeyed," or "Look no one to make you hear," or "us Promotes" (Ra ' ina), twisting the language and attacking religion.
If they had said: "We hear and we obey," and "Listen" and "Look at us" it would be best for them and more upright. But God has cursed them for their unbelief, then, except a few, he will not believe. O you who have been given the Book, believe in what We have revealed it (Quran) in confirmation what IS WITH YOU (Torah), before we delete the faces ... "
The accusation is made against" those (some of) the Jews "who" hijack the word's meaning ", but the examples clearly show that these are the words of Muhammad. (we have a similar case in Sura 5 :44-46) Yusuf Ali explains this attitude admirably in his note accompanying this text:
"A trick that 'used the Jews was to twist the meaning of words and expressions to ridicule the most solemn teaching about religion. So they should have said: "We hear and we obey," they said aloud: "We obey" and added, muttering: "We disobey" and instead to declare with the utmost respect: "We hear," they added in a low voice "that does not mean" to irony. When they wanted to attract the attention of the Master, they used an ambiguous formula, apparently innocent, but actually intentionally disrespectful. When the Arabs want to say "Please, pay attention!" They employ with profound respect the expression 'Ra'ina' which also means "Look at us." With a contortion of their languages, these Jews pronounced something like 'O you who we pastured! "
H5. The Cow (Al-Baqara) 2.75-79, year 2 AH
A claim of Muslims to assert that the Torah was falsified by the Qur'an is primarily located in the verse 79 of Sura 2, we thus propose to study this verse in its context, to understand what it really is, in light of what has already been discussed previously:
and analyze this verse as a whole:
75. - Well, hope you [Muslims], that such people (the Jews) will share the faith? while a group of them, having heard and understood the word of God, and perverted knowingly.
76. - And when they meet the believers, they say: "We believe" and, once alone together, they say: "Will you give the Muslims what God has revealed to you to provide, as an argument against you before your Lord ye then no sense? ".
77. - Do not they know that in truth God knows what they conceal and what they reveal?
78. And there are among them illiterates who know nothing except the Book claims and they only conjecture.
79. Then woe unto those who write their own hands a book and then present it as coming from God to get a little price! - Woe them, therefore, because of what their hands have written, and woe to them because of what they earn! Sura 2
These verses indicate that a group (not all) of Jews after having heard the word of God (the Koran) says he understood, but later turned away as explained in these verses in the same sura:
"When a Book (the Qur'an) from Allah, confirming what they have with them (the Torah) came to them ... they did not believe them ... How this is awful against which they have sold their souls! "Sura 2.89-90
And when we tell them:" Believe in that God sent down, he said: We believe in what we were sent down to us (the Torah). And they disbelieve the rest (the Quran), that which confirms what is truth (the truth) who is with them (the Torah )..." Surah 2: 91
"He (Gabriel) has been reduced on your heart with God's permission the Book confirming what is in his hands (the Torah) ... When a prophet sent by God came to them, confirming what they have with them (the Torah), several (Fariq) of those to whom the Book had been given behind their backs rejected the Book (the Koran) as God's they knew nothing (of what included). "Surat 2.97,101
Thus this verse 2:79. Then woe unto those who write their own hands a book and then present it as coming from God to draw a little price! - Woe to them ,
Speak simply a group of Jews (not Christians) who listens to the Koran (thus the time of Mohammed) composed (not falsifiére!) as a book from God to draw little price. It is NEVER said that Jews have falsified the Torah. As we watch these next verses cited, the Torah that Jews have with them is genuine, because the Qur'an confirms the Torah that Jews HAVE WITH THEM:
"When a Book from Allah, confirming what they have with them (the Torah) came to them ... they did not believe them ... How awful is that against which they have sold their souls "Sura 2.89-90
And when we tell them:" Believe that God sent down, he said: We believe in what we were sent down to us (the Torah). And they disbelieve the rest, that which confirms what is truth (the truth) who is with them (the Torah )..." Surah 2: 91
Moreover, even assuming that this verse (2: 79) speak of forgery, which would contradict the Koran, and that thought Mohammed 1st and Muslims, it would be reported while the falsification on the part of some Jews and NOT Christians this is the time of Muhammad, and not before. And since we have thousands of copies of the Torah and the Gospel from before Mohammed and the Qur'an never says that Christians have falsified their book, while the Koran is said to be a detailed account of ALL or nothing is omitted, we conclude that the Qur'an never says that the book we have, which predates Mohammed has been tampered with!
Conclusion:
summarize what we have Education alleging that the Koran gives the Torah, the Gospel and the people of the Book, the various groups of Koranic verses.
Group A. True Torah was known of John the Baptist (Yahya, Mary, Jesus and his disciples in the first century.
Group B. The Qur'an confirms the existence of true Christian believers at least until the beginning of monasticism, about 300 -350 AD. It is reasonable to assume that these faithful believers did not alter their own Gospel, the Qur'an designates otherwise false believers.
Group C. The Qur'an confirms the truth of the previous books that are "his hands" that is to say "in his presence" or "under his eyes." These books are with the Meccans, but since they could not understand the previous books, he had to give them the Arabic Koran.
Group D. According to the Koran, God himself, or Muhammad who ordered it, appeals to the Torah and the Gospel more than twenty times. Muhammad asked the Jews to bring the Torah to resolve a dispute. People read the Torah and the Gospel who are with them.
Group F. Christians have split and fought each other, and they forgot part of the book, but no verse affirms that they have altered or corrupted the text.
Groups G and H. Some Jews AT THE TIME OF MOHAMMED guilty of al-al-`nawi tahrif because they hide things that are written in their books and release sections that do not suit them. They reject the Qur'an, are lying, sell God's signs for a miserable price, and are doubly guilty because they transform tahrif also the explanations given by Muhammad. But nothing in all this indicates that even the unbelieving Jews have altered the written text of their Torah anyway, Jewish believers have not been altered and would not have tolerated that others do.
The Qur'an declares itself in the Sura of the Cattle (Al-An `am) 6.34:" And no one can change the words of God ", an assertion repeated in Surah Jonah (Yunus) 10.64:" No changes to the words of God. "
Our study of the Koran leads therefore the only possible conclusion: the Qur'an never says that our book, Torah and Gospel would be falsified, unlike the Koran confirms its authenticity. Furthermore, since no Muslim has ever found in Islamic libraries a Torah or a different gospel different, and since no archaeological discovery has created update an inscription that is different from those of the Torah and the Gospel "who are with us," We are absolutely convinced that books, the Torah and the Gospel which we possess are considered by the Quran as authentic.
